    Get things started

    Step three
    Get your thinking cap on

    Like what you see? Of course you do. So it’s time to decide whether you’d like a one, two, three or four-bedroom place, and which East Village home you like the look of most. It’s no easy choice when every home has so much to offer.

    Step five
    Get your references sorted

    Once your offer has been accepted and we’ve agreed your terms, we’ll ask you for £500 pre-tenancy funds. As soon as we get that, we’ll take your home off the market and start getting references done. These funds are deducted from your first payment prior to moving in.

    Step seven
    Get the money moving

    Before you move in, we’ll need the first month’s rent, plus six weeks’ rent as a deposit. The £500 pre-tenancy funds you’ve already paid are included in this.

    Step nine
    Get packing

    True, it’s not always the most enjoyable part of moving, but it’ll be well worth it – just think about where you’re moving to.

    Step two Get a viewing booked

    A member of our Get Living London team will arrange an appointment to show you around a selection of properties that meet your needs. If you have any questions about East Village or the local area, don’t hesitate to ask.

    Step four
    Get an offer in

    Next you need to let us know your decision, along with the date when you’d like to move in and your preferred contract length.

    Get your tenancy agreement signed

    When we’re happy with your references, we’ll be in touch to give you your tenancy agreement .Read it through carefully, let us know if there’s anything you don’t understand or weren’t expecting, sign it and get it back to us.

    Step eight
    Get a check-in appointment

    Next, we’ll get a date in the diary so you know exactly when you’ll be able to pick your keys up and move in. If you’re not already feeling excited, this is definitely the time to start. (It’s probably a good idea to start packing now).

    Step ten
    Get to know East Village & your new neighbours

    Finally, check-in, meet your relationship manager and be introduced to how everything works. Go though the inventory and then, that’s it – you’re done. Have a great time and, if you need us, you know where we are.

     It’s not a problem if you want to put your own stamp on the place. All residents are welcome to:                     

    • Hang pictures and mirrors and mount TV's on walls 
    • Put up shelves and coat hooks
    • Repaint the walls in all rooms
    • Lay rugs on wooden floors

     ...all we ask is that you follow the instructions we provide around types of paint, fixing and adhesives.
